‘I do not suck. I’m very hard on myself ‘

With the flight of three small frozen margarites in front of me, I confess to my friend that while catching during dinner, “things are good. My career and family are great, and the podcast I’m on is terrible. But there is something about this year – I have come to know that there is a lack of confidence in reality. Like many times I do not feel good about anything I do, and I’m scared B Others also think so. ”

I chant the raspberry-flavored mood while I hang those words.

“But everyone feels this way,” he says. “Really, there are times when I feel so frustrated and I wonder if I have any role in my career.

She is right. Confidence in your head, there is a lot to do with that inner voice, all of which are fluttering thoughts. I have been reminded about the interview which I did with author and speaker Brian Tracy, who said that the mark of self confidence is self-efficacy, or believes in the ability to perform well in your chosen activities. People with confidence know that the challenge does not matter, they will be successful by dragging it and succeeding.

When I take a new project in which a new skill is required, I never doubt that I can succeed

I had an Oprah-Esk eh moment in spite of the rebuffed ideas in my head, when I take a new project in which a new skill is required, I have no doubt that I can be successful.

Podcast is a clear example. When our producer, Mariana Lennox told me about a co-hosted success podcast, I said yes, without actually thinking about it, without thinking about it. I say to do this – for some, say yes that I am not really sure and understand it on the way.

Since we launched the SUCCESS Insider Podcast at the beginning of last year, I have learned a new skill in broadcasting. I am making myself better on every episode and working with co-host Josh Allis and the whole team to make it a hit.

And heavy, it has been well received. It’s climbing the iTunes chart and the five-star review continues to amaze me. I am afraid to say that I am doing good on this, and Self-efficacy about Tracy is a misguided sign of self confidence.

After talks about eating and margarithas, I finally believed in a self-tolerant message, which most people use to remove negative internal interactions that we all do: I do not want to suck. I am very hard on myself

I’m still giving that sync, but I know it’s true
