I got balance by tracking every hour of my week

Being in charge of your time as a freelancer is both free and challenging. This means that you can develop a life that reflects your priorities, which has tremendous flexibility and opportunity. It also means that you can waste your time, be less than your expectations, and there is no one to blame yourself.

So how do you make the type of fulfilling your desired life while chasing your desired career? How do you count every minute, even if you are roaming with your startup or trying to create a workout routine?

There is a broad myth that you can not get it all. You can not succeed at work and save a full personal life. If you want a big career, then you have to leave other things. Entrepreneur Randi Zuckerberg thus describes the dilemma of entrepreneurial life: work, fitness, family, friends or sleep. You can choose only three.

Even for those who are not making careers from the ground, finding a patchwork balance between work and life seems almost impossible. Each day has a limited time, and it is difficult that you are trying to crack all those things in the 24 hour time frame.

But doing the work of long or awkward hours does not mean that you can not balance; All you need to do is see how you actually spend your time in how you want to spend your time.

I say that the inability to get all these things is a myth, but for a long time, it was the one that I completely believed. In fact, I put myself back in my writing career, fearing that the inclination would ruin my family’s relationships and would force me to lose so much sleep that I could not work. Surely there was no way that I can make a strong freelancing career, maintain a healthy lifestyle, sleep eight hours a night, and enjoy holiday with family and friends.

Still I saw other freelancers who were doing all this, and it seems that it is much better. They were participating in six-figure income, raising the families, posting photos with the gym and friends.

This proved to be true because I decided to increase my freelancing efforts; I soon saw that I would have time to take a bath twice a week, my house was a mess and my diet was cruel. Success in one area of my life will almost always be the magic of failure among many others. Still I saw other freelancers who were doing all this, and it seems that it is much better. They were participating in six-figure income, raising the families, posting photos with the gym and friends. These were not extraordinary people. They did not have the time or the advantages-they simply did not take control over their time.

It seemed that my life could handle completely and flows with more priorities, because I can handle it properly. In an attempt to ascertain whether this was true, I decided to start tracking my time in very detail. I set up a one-week spreadsheet that broke my days in half an hour and I did exactly what I wrote.

The first day was impressive. The fact is that I had to write whatever I wrote, help to strengthen my productivity. I did not want to input those cells, who had said that I had spent one hour scrolling Instagram on the couch or I was eating an entire bag of potato chips while overstinking an email. I found that I worked without any distortion; I used to use my general purposeless afternoon hours to prepare a decent dinner; When I went into my to-do list with determination, then my dawn’s work seemed too small.
